Intern Spotlight: Neha Marzan Making Waves in Tampa and Beyond

At the Peirano Family Foundation, we believe in investing in future leaders who are not only driven, but also deeply committed to making a difference. This summer, we’re proud to spotlight one of our very own former scholarship recipients and current intern, Neha Marzan.

Neha is a rising junior at Princeton University, studying Neuroscience with potential minors in Entrepreneurship and Global Health & Health Policy. Her long-term goal? To work in emergency and trauma medicine—and ultimately open a community medical clinic alongside her sister. Neha is also diving into the startup space, currently developing an app to improve how we care for our health. Her mission is clear: foster innovation and equity within our healthcare system so that everyone receives the care they deserve, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Since joining PFF as a summer intern, Neha has hit the ground running—building connections with local nonprofits, community leaders, and fellow changemakers. She’s currently volunteering with AMI Kids, Faith and Grace Garden, and is gearing up for a project with Hook a Hero. Her work with the Foundation includes:

• Researching future scholarship opportunities in trades, maritime, and first responder fields

• Supporting gala preparations

• Creating marketing flyers and updating our website

• Contributing to strategic outreach that expands our community impact

Neha shared:

“I feel like I’ve made some great connections and met incredible community leaders that are making a difference here in Tampa. I’m especially grateful for all the mentorship and guidance Bonnie [Peirano] has provided—she continuously encourages me to take on meaningful projects and make the most of this experience.”

We’re incredibly proud to have Neha on the team this summer and can’t wait to see where her passion and purpose take her next.
