The Peirano Family Foundation with the help of A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions installed a gutter and rain barrel system that will help get rain water to the edible plants throughout the Faith & Grace Garden.

Members of the Board of Directors visited the Faith and Grace Garden to help with harvesting fresh produce and preparing items for distribution to food bank clients.  We also toured the property and gathered information to assist with up-coming plans for installation of a gutter and rain barrel system to ease the burden of watering all of the property's plants and trees.

The Peirano Family Foundation hosted its annual scholarship awards ceremony at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club.  Four students were honored with a $1,000 Dr. Kristine Bennett Honorary Scholarship and one student was honored with the $1,000 Affronti Community Service Scholarship.  The room was packed with family, friends and school personnel who came out to celebrate the accomplishments of these terrific Hillsborough County students.  We'd like to thank the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club for donating their facilities for this great event.

The Peirano Family Foundation was excited to participate in the Great Port Clean Up sponsored by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and Port Tampa Bay. 600 volunteers worked together to pick up trash and debris along the shoreline in and around the port.  Our board members worked alongside Palmetto Beach Line Handlers to gather and dispose of 2,000 pounds of trash!!  

For the second year in a row, the Peirano Family Foundation presented a check for $500 to the Tampa Bay Maritime Scholarship Foundation president Captain Jere White. The mission of the Tampa Bay Maritime Scholarship Foundation is to assist high achieving graduates of the Hillsborough County Maritime Technology Programs at Thomas Jefferson High School Magnet Honors Maritime Academy and other public institutions by providing meaningful scholarship support for post high school education leading to maritime careers.

The Peirano Family Foundation recently donated much needed supplies, including socks, belts and laundry detergent to AMI Kids Tampa.  Students were excited to receive these essential items.Since 1971, AMI Kids Tampa has been dedicated to helping kids discover the potential within them, transform their lives and strengthen the Tampa Bay community.  AMI Kids Tampa empowers their kids through care and guidance to reach that potential and, as a result, break the cycle of failure and poverty.
