Trot Thru the Terrace Run/Walk Recap

The Peirano Family Foundation proudly joined the community in Temple Terrace to support the annual Trot Thru the Terrace Run/Walk, a 5K and 10K event benefiting Terrace Community Middle School (TCMS).

Foundation board members Dr. Kristine Bennett and Chrissie Peirano volunteered as race marshals, guiding runners along the course and cheering them on, while fellow board member Tahvia Shaw, who also serves as Principal of TCMS, represented the school and its ongoing commitment to excellence.

For more than 27 years, TCMS has stood as a model of academic achievement, character development, and community engagement. The school is ranked the #1 middle school in Hillsborough County and recognized among the top-performing charter schools in Florida.

“The Trot Thru the Terrace is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of community spirit and shared values,” said Dr. Kristine Bennett, foundation secretary. “We’re honored to partner with a school that embodies the same dedication to education, leadership, and making a difference.”
