Hook-A-Hero Foundation
The Peirano Family Foundation has proudly supported Hook-A-Hero since 2024 — sponsoring teams at their annual
golf tournament and clay shoot, providing raffle and auction prizes, and volunteering at their events. In 2026, the two
foundations joined forces to award two scholarships to the children of first responders (law enforcement or fire rescue) in Hillsborough County.

Hook-A-Hero is a 100% volunteer-driven, nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded by first responders and civilians. It provides confidential mental health services, financial support, and a peer support network for first responders and military personnel, including counseling, coaching, and purposeful outdoor activities (fishing, hunting, golfing, hiking, clay shooting).
