Dr. Kristine (Kris) Bennett, Secretary
Dr. Kristine "Kris" Bennett serves as Secretary of the Peirano Family Foundation Board of Directors, where she helps provide leadership, governance, and strategic direction in support of the Foundation's mission to create opportunities and strengthen communities through education and service.
Professionally, Dr. Bennett is a dedicated educational leader with a lifelong passion for empowering children, educators, and adult learners through the transformative power of education. A proud Tampa Bay native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Education and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida before completing her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Liberty University.
Throughout her distinguished career spanning more than two decades, Dr. Bennett has served in a variety of leadership roles, including teacher, instructional coach, mentor, assistant principal, building administrator, and principal. Her commitment to academic excellence and student success has helped lead multiple schools to earn the prestigious U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence designation.
Today, Dr. Bennett serves as the Director of Early Childhood at Trinity School for Children, where she continues to inspire a love of learning while shaping innovative educational experiences that prepare young learners for lifelong success.
Her outstanding leadership and service have earned numerous honors, including Teacher of the Year, Tampa Bay Business Journal Up & Comer finalist, Tampa Bay Woman of the Year runner-up, and recognition as a Patriotic Employer by the U.S. Army Reserve.
As the Secretary of the Peirano Family Foundation Board, Dr. Bennett brings exceptional expertise in education, servant leadership, and a deep commitment to creating opportunities that help individuals and families thrive. Outside of her professional and philanthropic work, she enjoys hiking with her husband and spending quality time with family and friends.
