The Peirano Family Foundation continues its mission of empowering local students and schools through meaningful community partnerships.
Board members Bonnie Peirano, Dr. Kristine Bennett, and Tahvia Shaw visited St. Joseph’s Catholic School, a vibrant learning community serving 280 students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Nearly 90% of the students are ESOL learners, and half come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds within the surrounding community.
During their visit, the foundation presented a grant to fund a new PE equipment shed, addressing a critical need and ensuring students have access to resources that promote active, healthy learning.
“It was incredibly inspiring to see the creativity and dedication of the staff and students,” siad, Bonnie Peirano, Foundation Executive Director. “From fine arts and drama to music, St. Joseph’s is providing opportunities that enrich every aspect of a child’s education.”
Through initiatives like this, the Peirano Family Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting local schools, fostering student success, and building brighter futures across the Tampa Bay community.
